The international festival of media art INTERVALS traditionally takes place in Nizhny Novgorod, and the geography of its participants covers Russia, the USA, Europe and Asia. The mission of the festival is to make media art understandable and accessible to all viewers without exception.

INTERVALS is a large-scale free media exhibition that takes over the most resonant architectural landmarks and urban spaces, a multi-format educational program and a series of audiovisual performances and musical events.
